Winter Storm Oaklee is spreading snow and ice from the Southern Plains to the Midwest and Northeast, such as California, Arizona, Minnesota, Texas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Alaska and Michigan. The storm will finish up its journey by delivering heavy snow and ice to the Northeast, New York. The storm has created potentially hazardous operating conditions, and icing could knock out power and cause tree damage.

Delivery services across the listed regions have been impacted by severe weather and some roads have been blocked because of snow and ice. We appreciate your patience as we implement contingency plans to minimize delays and provide the best service possible. Please stay safe and allow some time for your package to arrive.


Service Impacted by U.S. Winter Storm:
Delivery services across the Midwest, and parts of the South and Northeast, have been impacted by severe weather and some roads have been impassable because of snow and ice. Although your location may not be impacted by adverse weather, the movement of packages in the network may be delayed by conditions in other areas.

Rest assured that Postal employees make every reasonable effort to deliver mail in many difficult weather conditions and in this case, they will reattempt delivery when access becomes safe.
